Ingredients

Sweet Almond Oil: Helps retain moisture and maintain hydration

Lemon Peel Oil: Prevents the effects of free radicals (acne, wrinkles, dark spots pigmentation)

Wheat Germ Oil: Works as an anti-aging agent against dry skin and wrinkles

Tocopherol (Organic Vitamin E Compound): Acts as an antioxidant to combat free radicals due to metabolic effects from food and environmental toxins

Rosemary Leaf Extract: Provides anti-inflammatory properties while acting as a cure for dermatitis, psoriasis and eczema

Soybean Oil: Fights against inflammation and assists in retaining moisture

My Personal Experience

I have tried numerous Burt's Bees products from the complexion stick, lip shimmer (highly recommend) and lip balm. The body oil is my absolute favorite! I found it at Target for $6.99 after spending thirty minutes in the cosmetics department. Packaging can be very misleading as companies make use of images and words associated with organically raw ingredients while their products contain a slew of chemicals . The first thing I do whenever I am interested in a new product is flip to the ingredients label. I was ecstatic when I read all of the organic and natural ingredients on the back of the Burt's Bees bottle.

I use this product as an after-shower moisturizer and it shows results. After two uses the body oil cured the dry skin on my chest as well as the aging spots. The body oil softens skin and reduces hair growth which requires me to shave my legs less (#timesaver #moneysaver). Even though the Dead Sea Collection is a similar product that should not be used on the face, Burt's Bee's Body Oil works excellent as the lemon peel oil reduces pigmentation in facial skin.
