Fennel Cough Syrup

Ingredients


1/2 Tablespoon of fennel seeds

3 Tablespoons of organic honey

1 cup of water


Instructions


In a saucepan combine fennel seed, honey and water. Bring mixture to a boil. Turn heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from the heat source and strain. Take 1 tablespoon every 3-4 hours as needed. Store in refrigerator for at most a week.



Precautionary Measures


This herb is included in the FDA list of herbs. If pregnant, use of fennel should be limited to the amount found in food.
