About the Bite


It has nothing to do with the bite, however, the mosquitoes' saliva is what humans are allergic to. When a mosquito bites it injects saliva, a anticoagulant, to prevent the blood from clotting. Since we as humans are allergic to the substance, it causes annoying and often painful itching. The allergen causes your body to produces a protein called histamine in which it causes inflammation. This remedy will not only relieve itching, but it is an anti-inflammatory too!


Ingredients


100% Jojoba Oil

Lemon Balm Leaves

Spearmint (or Peppermint) Leaves

Minced Garlic



Instructions


Add jojoba oil, lemon balm leaves and spearmint leaves to mortar and pestle. Crush the leaves to relieve them of any juices. Apply jojoba-covered leaves to infected area and let sit for 10 minutes. Remove the leaves and apply a pinch of minced garlic to the affected area. Let sit for 10 mins. The bite should become smaller each time you do this.
